At Autumn’s Inspiration, the health and well-being of our kittens are our highest priority. We take every step to ensure each kitten leaves our home happy, healthy, and ready to become a cherished member of your family.

 

1. General Health

All kittens are examined by a licensed veterinarian before leaving our care. They will be up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming and will come with a written record of all veterinary care provided. Each kitten is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of sale.

 

2. Buyer’s Veterinary Exam

The Buyer agrees to have the kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of pickup or delivery. If the veterinarian finds a life-threatening illness or congenital defect at that time, the Buyer must notify the Seller immediately and provide written documentation from the examining veterinarian. Upon confirmation by the Seller’s veterinarian, the Buyer may choose a replacement kitten from the next available litter.

No refunds are given.

 

3. Hereditary and Congenital Conditions

Our kittens are guaranteed against hereditary or congenital life-threatening defects related to the heart (HCM) or kidneys (PKD) for up to two years from the date of birth. Should such a condition be confirmed in writing by a licensed veterinarian, the Buyer may receive a replacement kitten of equal value when available.

 

4. Health Testing of Parents

All breeding cats at Autumn’s Inspiration are DNA tested for HCM and PKD, and are FIV/FeLV negative prior to breeding. This ensures we produce the healthiest kittens possible.

 

5. Buyer Responsibilities

The Buyer agrees to provide proper veterinary care, a safe indoor environment, quality nutrition, and love throughout the kitten’s life. This guarantee is void if the kitten has been neglected, mistreated, exposed to contagious illness, or bred without permission.

 

6. No Cash Refunds

Under no circumstances will a cash refund be given. Replacement kittens are provided only under the terms stated above.
